[Great Destiny Man 2]

Great

More of Great Destiny man please, there's something about his character that makes him really excellent.

Also I love his theme, very distinct and appropriate.

Been awhile since you submitted this, but if you are still reading the reviews here are some things I've noticed after viewing this series multiple times.

First off a simple pause / play button would be nice; this episode made an improvement with the addition of the scene select menu, but especialy considering the increasing length of the movies it's very possible that a viewer will be interrupted part-way through.

Second there is sometimes a bit of a jump in between episodes which can be a bit confusing when viewing the episodes in order (between 5 and 6, as well as between 6 and 7 imo), though I get the impression that will not be a problem for 8.

Hope the series continues to improve and the next episode comes out soon = O. Btw I like how each character has a specific color associated with them, makes it easier to keep track of who's who, especialy with all the new characters introduced this episode.

Simply an incredible flash, Normaly I try to offer constructive criticism when I review a flash, but usualy I dont give 10s either.

Incredible

I was dissapointed to hear the Edible castle would be ending (At least for awhile) in order to work on Cuboy (Which I had never watched until now).

I realise my dissapointment was faulty, this is incredible in addition to original.

The graphics we're awesome (Cubes are my favorite form, btw)

The dialog was incredible, Especialy the Cuboy / Boss conversation

The sound is good, Cuboy and the Boss's voices are incredibly well done and humerous, the rock guy's voice was a bit annoying to listen to. (As a side note the song at the end was great, I liked how it wasnt just a loop of one stanza, and was instead slowly changing to maintain intrest)

Though I have alweys been a staunch fan of Edible castle, This series is deffinatly as good or better and I am glad that you plan to continue with it, even if it means the death of one of my favorites :*(

Most amusing.

I didn't find it quite as funny as the previous three, still some great material though.

My favorite was the "I am the king of this castle and I say you are an ass"

Sound effects are good as usal, the "Splash" and Blagh noises we're good.

I'm not quite sure what could have been done to make it as good as the previous three (10 star worthy imo), at this point you have transcended graphics and sound effect problems, their great - just need to work on keeping the jokes as plentiful and effective as before I suppose. (It's thoroughly possible that this isj ust a personal preferance of mine)

Still, a very good addition to Newgrounds and I look forward to seeing the rest of the series.

It was very relaxing and amusing to watch, and I particularly liked your use of typography (Though it wasn't a major part of the work)

[Metroid Prime Catastrophe]

Most amusing,

Been a fan of the entire Metroid series and this vidoe does a great job of poking fun at all of the classic cliches that define the series (like Losing powerups and killing Ridley)

One minor thing to recomend: In the scene selection the buttons to switch to screens only register if you click the letters themselves (trivial I know, but it's a pet peeve of mine), It's usaly best to make a small rectangle in the "Hit" box of the button that encompasses the entire word, so people won't even 'miss' the button if they press inside an O or something.

yep, I know what you mean by the scene selection thing, I forgot to add the "invinsible" regtangle in this flash, but at least the letters are pretty big so it's easier to press them.

Hilarious

Sounds are perfect (I like their doorbell)

Characters are funny ("Since when are porcupines creatures sent from the hellgates?")

Things to improve - hm..... nope, can't think of anything = O

I'de like to begin my review with a quick lol at Rainbows' reveiw, for it was thoroughly insulting, yet did not actualy provide much advise whatsoever on how you could improve, with that said, my own reveiw...

Good -
The art was very intresting and well done throught, I was impressed at how unified the collab was, most collabs have very sharp visual changes when it switches between authors, it's cool seeing one where the peices work together.
Obviously it wasnt anything exciting or mindblowing as many people seem to be complaining about, frankly thats not your fault, if they want to watch something exciting theres plenty of other options.
*Note* The preloader game is great = O

Not so good - Don't have a whole lot to say here, One thing that did stick out to me (being a bit of a graphic deseigner) is that the text you used on the 'main screen' and in the beginning of the credits was very challenging to read, And imo at least being easy to read is the most important part of any creative typography (Incidentaly the text wasn't very cardboard-like as it was very wavy and rounded, as opposed to box-like)
Also the bright red balloon in my opinion provides a bit too much contrast, though it was intresting, maybe toning the saturation down just a little bit would have been less conflicting with the rest of the production.

Minor faults, but the biggest ones I could come up with = O

Well made, well put together, looks like the artists really worked together to make this collaboration actualy collaborate, as opposed to being a bunch of seperate clips stuffed into a flash file. *Thumbs up*
